Karen Viggers Literary Event – New Release – Sunday 30 March

The Snowy Mountains Readers Writers Association is holding a local literary event for Sunday 30th of March at Rydges Horizons, Jindabyne. It will be a beautiful smorgasbord luncheon to celebrate the highly anticipated release of Karen Viggers ‘The Grass Castle’. This is Karen’s third novel and is a “captivating story of displacement and belonging, love and forgiveness.” Set in the Brindabella Ranges with cattle, stockmen and native wildlife, it is a landscape that is familiar to us all. Snowy Mountains Readers Writers Association is also proud to announce that Karen Viggers, who is resides in Canberra and visits the Snowies often, is our 2014 Festival Patron! You can visit for more information about ‘The Grass Castle’ and the author.

Tickets for this event are available from Cooma Library, Rydges Horizons and Snowprint Bookshop. As this is a fundraiser, proceeds will go toward hosting the 2014 Snowy Mountains Readers Writers Festival events for Children, to be held on the 19th of April. The SMRW Association would like to thank you for your previous and ongoing support, enabling these local cultural events to continue. Please check here and on Facebook for updates.
