Our venues often prepare wonderful gourmet meals to accompany the author presentations, giving the festival events a rich cultural experience and we all know how entertaining talking, relaxing, food and drink can be.

This year we’re able to share the menu’s on offer for some of our events:

CELEBRATION DINNER AT THE KNICKERBOCKER

WITH PETER FITZSIMONS

The acclaimed French restaurant ‘Knickerbocker’ will kick off the event with a celebration of food and drink in a beautifully suited location for such a worldly topic and speaker. Knickerbocker has partnered with Grant Burge Wines to offer guests a complimentary glass of sparkling wine and the chance to win the lucky door prize.

LUNCH AT THE LODGE WITH OMAR

“HERE COME THE DOGS”

Kiama Lodge will put together a delicacy of hot dogs and “sliders” inspired by the theme of Omar’s debut novel Here Come The Dogs. It will be an informal literary affair where guests are invited to sample the range on offer, meet and mingle with others, before Omar begins his presentation.

The Denman Hotel will be hosting this informal interview style event with the two writers, which will begin with a delicious 3 course meal. Food/politics seems to be the recurring theme here with Steve & Chris discussing their books The Mandarin Code and The Marmalade Files. Enjoy good food, drink & laughs.
